    The Challenge

    Red Commerce is the largest specialist SAP resource provider across Europe, operating since 2000 and managing a global network of over 210,000 SAP professionals. Their client list includes major blue chip end users, consultancies and the SAP vendor themselves with supply routes for both contract and permanent into all European locations.

    As a fast growing organisation with a network of overseas offices, the challenge they faced was to streamline and create consistency in the new business development and process management across the UK and international offices to ensure they maintained their status as the leading provider of SAP recruitment solutions.

    The Solution

    Red Commerce approached Innergy to help develop a solution that would provide both quality and consistency in the delivery of new business strategies as well as scope and scalability in line with their expansion plans.

    Innergy put Red Commerce through a series of assessments, including a series of one to one meetings with the management team and sales personnel, to evaluate existing new business development processes and identify any areas of improvement.

    A comprehensive, Red Commerce specific, 10 step strategic sales process was then developed by Innergy and all client facing employees of Red Commerce in the UK and overseas were each taken through a six week, onsite training programme to understand how to use and implement the new sales strategy in their business activities.

    Finally, a unique, web-based training and development system was developed by Innergy for Red Commerce to house not only the new training content, but to act as Red Commerce’s first internal intranet system across the business.

    The Outcome

    On completion of the training, and following implementation of the new business development process within the business, a clear change in the approach and strategic thinking of the employees towards new business was very visible.

    A series of new initiatives were developed over the course of the programme, each focusing on significant growth of revenue per employee, and as one delegate suggested, "Innergy’s training was one of the best, if not the best training session I have had since I have been with Red Commerce – much more along the lines of the way I think."

    The new intranet "Talent Hub" that was developed is now loaded with applications, content, videos, information, training programmes, assessments and support guides for employees to use on demand and will guarantee the realisation of a consistent and high quality roll out of Red Commerce’s strategies moving forward.
