  • Brent Council

    The Challenge

The Borough of Brent was formed in 1965 from the area of the former Municipal Borough of Wembley and Municipal Borough of Willesden of Middlesex.

The Council has recently launched a new corporate vision for ‘future working’ in Brent as part of the new improvement and efficiency agenda.  It outlines the key areas for new ways of working and how this will be achieved over the next three to five years to coincide with the launch of the new Civic Centre building.

    The Solution

Innergy were invited to develop and deliver a training intervention to support this initiative, focusing on the key areas of embracing change and working with innovation.

Following a series of meetings with key "champions" of this initiative, Innergy designed and developed a unique, interactive training programme that assessed the core drivers of change within the council, culminating in a series of deliverables and creative plans of action for delegates to embrace and implement within their business sectors.

    The Outcome

The feedback from the training was excellent, with all delegates rating the content and facilitation as nine and ten out of ten.

Each delegate left the training with a series of new ideas and points of action to take away and embed within the Council, as well as the enthusiasm and commitment to embrace change within the "future working" initiative

    What they said..

"We recently engaged Innergy to help talk about change, creativity and innovation to a group of Business Administrators and support staff.  Innergy provided a fun yet informative session that encouraged the group to think and also gave them some practical tips to use in future.

They really delivered what we were looking for."
