Recruitment Agencies Challenged to do More in Response to Race for Opportunity Study

A study commissioned by Race for Opportunity found that white applicants were more likely to be offered jobs than candidates from black, Asian and ethnic minorities (BAME).

In the past 12 months, 29% of BAME candidates using recruitment consultancies were offered a job compared to 44% of white candidates, according to the research.

Developing understanding of best practice and raising awareness of Equality and Diversity internally can increase employees understating of employment law issues avoiding any issues that may arise.
